WHY HEMP TEA?

Hemp is possibly one of the earliest plants to be cultivated with its first appearance dating back to 8000 BC. Unlike other varieties of the Cannabis sativa plant, hemp has no psychoactive components. Rather, its seeds are similar to nuts and are filled with tons of nutrients – omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids, high-quality plant-based protein, vitamin E, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, magnesium, sulphur, calcium, iron and zinc! They have been used in Uttarakhand as part of the regional cuisine to make chutneys, curries and spice mixes for centuries.
